Animal Rehabilitation and physical therapy assistant wanted for part or full time position in La Quinta, CA animal hospital. Our facility offers underwater treadmill, therapeutic hot spa, E-STIM, laser, and physical therapy exercise including the use of balance boards, cavalettis, and exercise balls. Preferred qualifications include experience with the above modalities, education in rehabilitation, and excellent client service and communication skills.

Associate Veterinarian (Full or Part Time)

Associate Veterinarian (Full or PT) for a new facility in Southern CA location! We are an established small animal practice in a beautiful new facility in La Quinta, CA, and are excited to add a full or part time veterinarian to our team. Our practice is committed to high quality care provided through a special partnership with our clients, ensuring our pet owners are educated and involved in their pet’s care. We provide wellness and preventative care, general medicine and surgery, with a heavy dentistry focus. Our equipment includes a new Idexx in house laboratory as well as Antech lab services, digital radiography, ultrasound and digital dental x-rays. Our hospital offers physical therapy utilizing underwater treadmill on site, and also offers boarding and grooming services for our wonderful and growing clientele. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Experience providing wellness care and general surgery for companion animals
  • Ability to manage a moderate to heavy case load
  • Confidence with heavy computer use in a paperless practice (AviMark software, digital radiography)
  • Passion for educating clients in the best care for their pets
  • Availability to participate in monthly staff and associate meetings
  • Comfortable working late shifts during the week (closing at 8pm) and Saturday shifts
  • Doctors with Acupuncture or Physical Rehabilitation education and skills are especially encouraged to apply

Description: We have a well-established rehabilitation service in a veterinary teaching hospital, and we are seeking a full-time rehabilitation technician to replace a vacated position. We are willing to train, but would prefer someone with rehabilitation certification. The ideal candidate would be an LVT with training andexperience in rehabilitation, excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work well as part of a team. This person will work in a clinical service with a part-time LVT/CCRP. Our rehabilitation service works closely with the hospital orthopedic and neurology services, and we have all the equipment you would expect in
a full service rehabilitation practice. Most of our patients are canine, but we occasionally work with cats and other species.
